MANUFACTURED AIR SYSTEMS

PAC III UNITS

The PAC III air handling centre is a self contained heating and ventilating unit for high occupancy applications and indoor air quality.

The PAC III provides an 82% efficient (AFUE) heating unit, mixed air plenum complete with modulating dampers to provide ventilation air and a free cooling economizer.

Pre-heating of outside air in cooler weather is accomplished by utilizing a heat pipe recovery coil. Energy from the stale, warm exhaust air is automatically transferred to the cold outdoor air.

All functions are controlled by a unique digital switching device, which reads and monitors inputs from a programmable electronic room thermostat and numerous other sensing devices.

The PAC III comes equipped with a skirting kit and trim package and has been factory inspected prior to shipping.

The PAC III's computer is programmed at the factory. Therefore, if you would like to add Air Conditioning at a later date, a computer chip will need to be added to the PRISM controller. This chip is available from the factory upon request

The PAC III is an energy efficient and compact system and here are a few of its outstanding features:

1. Energy from the exhaust air preheats the incoming ventilation air by means of a heat recovery coil.
2. An 82% efficient heating unit with a stainless steel heat exchanger is capable of handling the required amount of outdoor air while ensuring durability and long life.
3. Heat recovery increases mixed air temperatures to an acceptable level. This eliminates unstable room temperatures and provides a draft free environment.
4. A built-in exhaust system prevents excessive building pressurization.
5. The electronic control center enables a passive defrost cycle without compromising ventilation requirements.
6. The enclosure which incorporates all components, is smartly arranged within a pre-finished, fully insulation cabinet.
7. This is an indoor, sealed combustion unit.
8. C.G.A. approved for relocatable structures.
9. All maintenance and service procedures can be performed without shutting down entire building systems and in the comfort of an indoor environment.

PAC V UNITS

The PAC V roof top unit is a self contained heating and cooling unit with built in heat recovery and exhaust.

The PAC V provides an 80% efficient (AFUE) gas fired heating unit, self contained hermetically sealed refrigeration cooling section, a passive refrigerant charged heat pipe recovery coil, mixed air plenum complete with modulating dampers to provide ventilation air and a free cooling economizer. All internal operating components and controls are assembled and pre-wired at the factory prior to shipment.

Pre-heating of outside air in cooler weather is accomplished by utilizing a heat pipe recovery coil. Energy from the stale, warm exhaust air is automatically transferred to the cold outdoor air.

All functions are controlled by a digital switching device, which reads and monitors input from a room thermostat and numerous other sensing devices.

The PAC V is shipped with the heat recovery module mounted and pre-wired. The roof curb is shipped for field mounting. All units have been factory started and inspected prior to shipping.

The PAC V unit comes with a PRISM board controller as a standard feature but it can be converted to a Johnson Control Facilitator Unit or a CSI Unit.
